Thanksgiving and other fun things...

I didn't want to let November slip away without a post! It's been a busy month, and getting even busier now that Christmas is right around the corner..and then Ellorah's 1st bday! I can't believe she'll be one in a little over a month. That's crazy. Time really does fly by. We had a good thanksgiving with the family's...went to the Snowdens first and then over to my cousin Debbie's beautiful new home to see them and spend some time with Mom and Dad. Ellorah had her first turkey, first mashed potatoes and first fruit salad marshmallows. She seemed to like it all....probably liked the marshmallows the best. I wasn't sure she'd be able to get them in her mouth, but she did! We also celebrated her cousin Logan's bday, she enjoyed testing out all his toys...and she got to bounce in the bounce house with mommy and daddy!

She's been taking a few steps on her own lately, standing and doing a lot more cruising on furniture. Norm also taught her how to feed elvis from her high chair. Bad idea, daddy. You'll see some of that in the photos. Now elvis and annie are circling her chair like little vultures anytime she eats. I guess it's good I don't have to sweep the floor afterwards. Her newest words are "yeah", "cup" and "dat", with pointing...for "that". I've got to figure out a time to get her to go visit santa so we can get her first santa pics! I bought her a cute little santa suit, but haven't decided if I'll put her in that for her pic or her pretty new dress instead!! We'll see. I'm not looking forward to standing in the big long line, but it's Santa, so hey...how could you NOT go?

A Haunting We Will Go....and Ellorah is 10 months old today!!!!

Well, our Halloween celebration was once again a success! Special thanks to Norm's dad for all his help and for the many who assisted in managing the line, handing out candy, baby wrangling and all around scaring! It was a fun night and we couldn't have pulled it all together without you! Hope everyone had a good time...we did!

Ellorah enjoyed her first Halloween with the fam. She wasn't scared at all by the decorations and actually went to Norm no problem, even while he was all dolled up in his phantom wear. We had a lot of new additions to the celebrations, lots of new decorations and more friends stopping by. Ellorah's friends Dax and Jack stopped by in their costumes and she even got to go trick or treating with Dax for her first trick or treat trip! Glad his mommy and daddy Stacy and Greg came our way! Got some good shots of all of us together and some great ones of Jack and Ellorah on the couch! Hope you all enjoy the photos..and did I mention, my baby is 10 months old today??? That's just 2 months shy of a year. It has flown by!!!
