Happy Valentine's Day 2008

I hope that you did something special today. I decided this year to come up with something better than roses. I am not saying roses are bad, they just hang out looking good for a day or two and then the browning starts kicking in. Before you know it they are all dried up and become a fire hazard. You don't want to throw out the dead, dried, brown roses too fast; so you sit there admiring the death and decay process of the roses until the water starts to stink and you are forced to part with them. Anyways, surfing the internet I came across one of our favorite band's website, which had a super neat idea. The idea was to have Matt Hillyer from Eleven Hundred Springs to come out and sing to Mistie. It took about 1/2 a second to know that this would be the perfect gift for a perfect wife.

As the days got nearer, I started to get a little scarred, knowing Mistie and how she hates to be embarrassed. I played out the scenarios in my head, and thought it best to meet her for lunch and have Matt sing to her at lunch, instead of at work. We ended up at Luna de Noche for a quick lunch and a great performance from Matt.
